The Delta Variant of COVID-19 is spreading through South Africa rapidly and is overtaking the Beta Variant namely in Gauteng and KZN, which was the most common in South Africa. The Delta variant is thus far the most dangerous and deadliest variant yet, as proven by the third wave in South Africa and the spread of this variant around the world.
