The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are rolling out a strategic global immunisation framework, said to take place between 2021 and 2030.
This will allow for people around the world to be protected against vaccine-preventable disease (VPD), disability and death.
In order to achieve this, the CDC will need to achieve its objectives as depicted below:

“CDC’s Global Immunization Strategic Framework 2021–2030 updates the agency’s global immunization strategy and highlights CDC’s unique contributions to realizing a safer, more secure world. Our emphasis on protecting people and their livelihoods from vaccine-preventable, infectious diseases could not be more critical or more urgent,” said CDC Director, Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH
