• Kwa-Zulu Natal was the only province that did not increase in hospital admissions, however the increases in other provinces were small.
• 2000 new hospital admissions for Gauteng as it maintains its rapid rise in cases.
• The upward trend in deaths continue to be in Gauteng and the North West Province over the last few weeks. The other provinces are sporadic with increases and decreases.
• Deaths in the 3^rd wave are lower than the 2^nd wave.
• The curve is not as steep as the 2^nd wave at this point, yet the numbers still do not look good.
