On the 27th of February, Nigeria reported its first confirmed case of Covid-19 in Lagos. The virus is spreading much faster than experts predicted, thanks in part to a slow global response.
Dr Doyin Odubanjo, executive secretary at The Nigerian Academy of Science and past chair of the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, recently spoke to The Conversation Africa and gave some incredibly useful tips on how the public can best protect itself from Covid-19.
